Is it life after death or death after life? Or in simple terms…
Is it present after the past or past before the future begins?
The tragedy of life is not death, but what we let die inside of us while we live. – Norman Cousins.
Nothing in this world is permanent. Not even a single second. This time will never come again. It elapses fast, so as life and other things. This is the only time you have, to enjoy to the fullest, to make your life purposeful, to create your own meaning, to fulfill your desires, to be happy. Giving your existence a purpose, is what life demands. Living is the key, mere existence is superficial.
A moment or a plan can change everything, you just need to look out for it. However, it doesn’t have to be good all the time. Sometimes it can be a terrible thing that causes a terrible turn in life events. Such rare occurrence provides determination to live. It never matters how long the life span is. It doesn’t matter whether its past, present or future. Life is an ongoing process…a vicious cycle…that never ends and thus never begins.
It’s like a blackboard given to you. You get to fill it with whatever you want to. You can always start over – right here, right now. Whatever it was that you have filled in it from your past, if it doesn’t serve you anything good, just erase it. This can always be done. Though its existence shall still be there, but it shouldn’t hold you up compromising on your today. Now, start afresh, find your joy and live it. You never know, which moment can make everything worth it, without your realizing it in the first place. So, keep on working and never stop.
To live happier, more fulfilling lives, when we encounter a difficult circumstance, we must keep shifting our perspective and continually ask ourselves, “is there a wiser, more enlightened way of looking at this seemingly negative solution?” – Robin Sharma
Moving forward, whatever may come, gives you inner strength and satisfaction. Encourage yourself to never put on hold. Ups and downs are part and parcel of this journey. Your last decision may have been wrong but keep on trying anyways. Change your decision, change your direction, change your path or change your perspective, but keep going on, as this is life. Remember that on the other side of fear lies freedom.
I believe if it isn’t fun, then don’t do it. So, always do the things that brings you joy. When I really understood that my primary aim in life was to feel and experience happiness, I began to do only those things which brought me joy. It will not only make you happy, but it will also provide you a sense of satisfaction towards your life. Joy of your life can be anything like helping the less fortunate, visiting library, reading something so as to increasing your knowledge about the society and its people, doing something concrete for your people and country.
Living a life with a reason satisfies your inner self and free you from the concern of this vicious cycle.
