“Breathe. The universe is taking care of everything else.”
At times, you will feel hopeless and anxious in this journey of yours, called life.
Sure, the life will throw your way many challenges.
A situation, wherein you want your life less than your death.
A moment, rather a painful moment of your life that will change your entire world in a matter of minutes.
Does this one moment, which is no doubt; temporary, holds the power to destroy you or even change you to become someone you are not?
Remember that things don’t always turn out the way you plan, or the way you think they should. So, you just need to think again.
Remind yourself that this is your life and you are going to be both moved and confused by it. You will always keep on experiencing things that can either inspire you or dishearten you. You’ll laugh until you cry. It will ache in ways you never thought possible. You’ll be hurt. Sometimes, you’ll be in the character of a bad person and other times you’ll play a good role. You might even make a mistake sometimes. And at yet another time finding yourself your own closure will be a necessity. Sometimes you’ll be alone and will be required to find a comfort in that situation too.
Most of the times you have to let go everything.
Certainly, you will be exhausted in all this chaos. But yes, this is your life and though it can be unpredictable and a lot messy, so much so that it can break you down, you’re going to survive it.
In such circumstances, the only problem is that your hope, for the survival, gets lost somewhere unknown and is always hard to find.
So just take a pause and BREATHE.

B – Believe in yourself and all that you are, and the rest will fall into place. No matter how hard it is in this particular moment, know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle. You have to keep going because you know that you deserve everything and anything that you desire.
You might have hit rock bottom this time, much harder to survive, but that’s the perfect place to start over, to believe in yourself, to hold your breath and gather your courage to move forward until things get better. You don’t need to take everything all at once, but rather one step, one breath and one moment at a time. Believe that things will get done when they are supposed to get done.
R – Relax your soul. Your calm mind and tranquil heart are the ultimate weapons against all your challenges. So just take a pause. Don’t react or think anything for a while. It is not always necessary to act or think. Whatever happened, happened and it’s over now. These feelings and emotions can’t break you. They are painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. Definitely, nothing is going to end right away. You need to give it sometime. So, in the meanwhile, re-energize yourself. Assuredly, it will not end the world.
E – Exhale out the negativity as everything cannot be controlled. This is a challenge, but have faith. Remind yourself that you will be out of this situation very soon. What all is required to be done right now is to push out the negative thoughts from your mind. It must be unbearable right now, but don’t doubt your resilience. Remember all of the times in the past you felt this scared, anxious and overwhelmed. Remember all of the times you felt this pain and also remind yourself how each time, you made it through. It will happen this time too. Breathe in, exhale out, the time passes soon, so shall this moment.
A – Accept the circumstances the way they are and keep doing whatever you are supposed to do –acts of kindness. Don’t panic. Just be yourself. Whatever happened was out of your control domain, so why exert yourself? Create positive moments for other people, it will make you feel much better about yourself. Quite apart from that, it will make their day better too! You will realise how your one act of kindness has changed your thought process and viewpoint. Who knows you might get an idea to deal with your own challenge.
T – Trust that this struggle is the part of the process. This process, the journey of your life is a share of the good times mixed in between the bad times. You cannot ignore any of the two. You have to had it all. You can’t just sit and wait for the ending. You can’t just wait for your last breath to arrive. You are not supposed to make a fool of yourself. You know how dear your life is to you. You love it and so, you need to breathe again.
H – Have hope that you are going to be all okay. Nothing can drag you down to the point as low as your death. You are alive and you can still make everything possibly correct. Your struggles will end soon and there will be sunshine again. You just need to keep faith, you still exist. As long as you don’t give up and keep pushing forward, no matter how hopeless things seem, you will make through it. Hope and just let life happen.
E – Enough is the final word. Bear in mind that you are enough and you do enough. You are strong enough to handle all your challenges, wise enough to find a solution to your problems and capable enough to do what all needs to be done. All you need to do right now is to realise your strength and be yourself. Sometimes, these uncomfortable and painful situations will try to change you. Let them make you stronger, smarter and kinder. But don’t you go and become someone that you are not. Acknowledge that you’re doing the best you can to cope and survive. Trust, that this is enough.
“Take a moment to just pause without fearing anyone and anything. Close your eyes and remember, what a wonderful privilege it is to be alive. And BREATHE.”
